MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Dandenong VIC About the role This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands‑on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Actively following your apprenticeship training plan, with a strong focus on learning and developing mechanical trade skills. Assisting qualified mechanical tradespeople with assembling, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery and equipment. Supporting the inspection and packaging maintenance team in day‑to‑day operations. Progressively building the skills and knowledge needed to work independently. Undertaking other duties and special projects as required to support the team and business. What we're looking for - Skills & Experience 1st-year apprentices or 2nd-year (or above) apprentices seeking to start or continue their trade journey. Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in working with tools, machinery, and equipment. Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Completed a Certificate II in Engineering (preferred). Drivers Licence.
