The Early Childhood Assistant works closely with and under the supervision of the Director of Early Learning Centre. This role provides cover and support for our Early Learning Centre programs and the incumbent will work alongside both our Early Childhood teachers and other Early Childhood Assistants. As a valued member of the Early Learning Centre team, you’ll work together to create an educational program that nurtures each child’s interests and developmental needs. In this role, you’ll help foster a welcoming, flexible, creative, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow. You are expected to interact with children and parents and undertake general housekeeping tasks within the Early Learning Centre. This is a permanent, part time position commencing 22 January 2026 (New staff induction day). The successful applicant must: Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or a higher qualification. Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role desirable.
