About the Role As the Swim School Team Leader, you will: Inspire participation and community connection by growing enrolments and fostering positive aquatic experiences. Lead a premier program by designing and launching a high‑quality, engaging swim school for the Willoughby community. Develop and empower your team by mentoring swim instructors to deliver safe and high‑quality lessons. Drive smooth operations by managing scheduling, enrolments, and daily program delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and child protection standards. Enhance programs through insights by using data, feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve services and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience coordinating large‑scale swim school or aquatic education programs, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, lead, and mentor swim instructors in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment. Extensive and proven swim teaching experience (ideally 5+ years) with strong knowledge of water safety and aquatic instruction. Strong operational and compliance knowledge of aquatic environments, including GSPO, Child Safe principles, and risk management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills to engage effectively with parents, participants, staff, and community partners. AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia certifications (Competitive Strokes, Access & Inclusion). Experience in setting up or expanding a swim school operation, including enrolment management systems.
