Medical Senior Receptionist Baldivis/Kwinana We are seeking a professional, dedicated and experienced senior medical receptionist for our family practice located in Kwinana and Baldivis Previous GP medical reception and management experience is essential. Experience with Best Practice software is essential. Part-time hours are available (to be discussed with the successful candidate). Shifts will include opening and closing the practice which operates Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Flexibility to cover during periods of annual leave and sick leave is essential including weekends if necessary (but only if other cover cannot be sought). We are a close knit team working in a supportive and professional environment. The position would suit a mature-minded individual that thrives in providing optimal support and care to doctors and patients alike with the ability to work autonomously. We are a mixed billing practice so an understanding of Medicare and private billing is essential. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting doctors and clinical staff with administration Answering calls and booking appointments Providing exceptional customer service Arriving patients, ensuring paperwork is completed and demographics are up to date Private billing of patients Billing and batching to Medicare Scanning, faxing and post Providing computer and software support to the doctors Opening or closing of the clinic Overseeing the practice to ensure compliance is met Reception rosters Weekly basic practice reporting to management This role has potential for the right candidate to span management of two or three GP clinics close by.
