As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing gatehouse operations at our client site. This includes ensuring secure access control, surveillance, and prompt incident response across the facility. The Gatehouse Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted service delivery and upholding operational security standards without delay or compromise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Managing vehicle movement and access control. Checking emails, administration and required reporting. Ensuring all contractors and visitors are appropriately inducted. Identify and report any security risks to the client contact and client services manager. Internal and external foot patrols. Monitor WHS and CCTV surveillance. Provide daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, and any checks. Provide perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the Site perimeter. Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, site buildings and grounds via CCTV, and the visitor management system process. Traffic control - pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, parking areas. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role(s). Demonstrated experience in a similar environment, managing client relationships. The applicable Security License of the State or Territory in which you work and a current Senior First Aid Certificate in accordance with the applicable Security legislation and associated Regulations. A current and applicable Drivers License of the State or Territory in which you work, if the inherent requirement of your position requires you to drive. Ability to prioritize tasks and self-supervise. Advanced Computer Skills - literacy in all MS Office products. Excellent communication and customer service skills - verbal and written. Report writing and presentation skills.
