Overview Permanent part-time Grade 2 speech pathologist (0.6 FTE) to join Epworth Camberwell in the Speech Pathology and Dietetics Department, Continuing Care & Support Services. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based communication and swallowing management and education to patients and their families/carers Act as an active member of the department and multidisciplinary team Participate in quality improvement activities Demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning and knowledge sharing Qualifications and Experience At least three years of clinical experience with adults in a hospital or community setting Well-developed clinical skills with evidence-based interventions Experience using a variety of cog-communication assessment and intervention tools Proven experience in a multidisciplinary team, alongside consumers and families Strong understanding of instrumental swallowing evaluations (e.g., VFSS/FEES) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and Registration Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent degree Eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) Eligibility for Certified Practising Membership of SPA Additional Information Salary package up to $15,900 pre-tax annually Largest educational scholarship program of its kind in Australia Ability to purchase up to four additional weeks of leave Reduced cost of health services for you and your family at Epworth Relocation assistance is available for approved candidates Epworth is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and to providing an equitable, barrier-free recruitment experience for everyone.
