Overview Zenviron is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the Newcastle region. Responsibilities Oversee the efficient implementation of project resources and structure Lead the balance of plant elements of large-scale BESS projects, managing program, budget, and resources Champion safety and environmental performance across the project Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors Foster effective communication with client field representatives Ensure timely, high-quality, and on-budget project delivery What you will bring Proven experience managing full lifecycle construction programs Site-based experience as a Site or Construction Manager in renewables or construction Strong commercial and financial management skills Demonstrated leadership in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Civil and/or electrical knowledge (highly regarded) Excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team-oriented approach to work and a commitment to continuous improvement. Through utilising your time management skills, you will have the ability to manage multiple aspects of work concurrently, and for this we offer an attractive remuneration package.
