We are currently looking to recruit a permanent litigation lawyer for my client where the primary focus is on civil litigation and building and construction disputes. My client are a multi award winning firm known for its strong client relationships. This is a great opportunity for somone who would like to develop their knowledge and experience. In this role, you will work closely with the firm's directors and other senior staff to provide legal advice and representation in matters related to litigation. You will be responsible for initiating these proceedings, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards. Key Responsibilities Manage less complex matters autonomously. Handle less complex litigation matters independently, ensuring timely and efficient resolution. Conduct preliminary assessments and develop case strategies under the supervision of senior lawyers. Assist senior staff with complex litigation. Support senior lawyers in managing complex litigation cases, including research, document preparation, and case management. Attend court proceedings and assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and ADR. Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws and regulations. Analyse and summarise legal documents, statutes, and case law to support case strategies. Draft legal documents and correspondence: draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents with high attention to detail; prepare and review correspondence related to ongoing litigation matters. Requirements 1 - 5 years PQE. Previous experience within litigation. Unrestricted practising certificate. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
