The Role & ProjectMACA Interquip is currently seeking an experienced Project Mechanical Engineer for a full-time site-based position working a 8:6 roster (FIFO from Perth). Responsibilities of the Role

Assisting Project Manager.

Overall project planning and scheduling.

Assist in managing project budget.

Ensuring the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.

Provide daily progress reports to Project Manager.

Assist in formalising weekly / monthly reporting.

Monitoring work for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and codes.

Providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Covering all areas of project management including Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.

Problem solving with site personnel and Engineering Department or Subcontractor.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Postgraduate degree in construction management (desirable).

Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar role.

Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across:

- OHS legislation and regulations.

- Thorough knowledge of contractual and quality requirements and safety standards.

- Thorough knowledge of standard and industry normal SMP construction processes and methodologies.

- Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.

- Effective organisation and planning skills.

- Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
