Entry Level & Experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians / Splicers (Brisbane QLD) As an internationally based company and market leader in the lightweight conveyor industry, Forbo Siegling is seeking both Entry Level & Experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians. These positions are based from our facility in Virginia QLD and will provide a variety of opportunities to the right candidate. Responsibilities: Your principal duties will involve the fabrication and manufacture of lightweight conveyor and transmission belts at our workshop, and the installation of these belts at varied customer premises across many industries including Food Processing, Logistics, Industrial Production, Raw Materials, Agriculture, Paper Print & Packaging. Entry Level applicants should be mechanically minded and reliable, demonstrate good organization and communication, and possess the desire to learn new skills. A current driver's license is essential and holding a forklift license will be an advantage (but not essential). Experienced applicants should also possess previous experience in the lightweight conveyor belt industry and be able to demonstrate their acquired skills & knowledge. A Certificate III in Polymer Processing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. All applicants should possess a strong work ethic combined with a hands-on approach to work practices, be capable of effectively working in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to health & safety for all stakeholders. In conjunction with daily planned works, Forbo Siegling also provides a rostered 24h-7day on call emergency service to our customers, so these positions can be very financially lucrative with the opportunity to work out of hours overtime. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
