Stock Inventory Controller - Casual Position Press Ready Paper | Dandenong, Melbourne, Victoria | 25 hours per week About Us Press Ready Paper is a leading supplier of general and specialty printing papers, serving small offset and digital print businesses across Melbourne. We pride ourselves on superior customer service, next-day delivery, and maintaining an extensive range of premium paper brands. Following our recent warehouse expansion to 1600 sqm, we’re looking for a detail‑oriented Stock Inventory Controller to join our growing team. The Role We’re seeking an experienced Stock Inventory Controller to manage our inventory operations and ensure seamless stock control across our extensive product range. This casual position offers 25 hours per week with the opportunity to transition to full‑time and is critical to maintaining our commitment to next‑day delivery and keeping our customers supplied with the right products at the right time. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory levels across 1600 sqm warehouse facility Forecast demand and maintain our 4‑month reorder system Monitor stock levels and coordinate orders with local and overseas suppliers Manage seasonal demand spikes and plan inventory accordingly Maintain accurate records using MYOB and Excel Conduct regular stock takes and reconciliations Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveriesIdentify and resolve inventory discrepancies Generate inventory reports and performance metrics Support warehouse operations and order fulfillment Essential Requirements Fluent in Microsoft Excel - advanced formulas, pivot tables, forecasting models Proficient in MYOB - inventory management and reporting Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage long lead times (up to 4 months for overseas orders) Strong organizational and time‑management skills Effective communication skills Flexibility to work 25 hours per week on a casual basis Desirable Skills Experience in the printing or paper industry Knowledge of supply chain management Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques Experience managing inventory for businesses with daily order cycles What We Offer Casual position - 25 hours per week Opportunity to transition to full‑time employment Casual loading rates applied Join a privately owned and operated business with a strong reputation Work with premium paper brands and specialty products Supportive team environment (6‑10 team members) Grow your career with an expanding business Dandenong location with convenient access How to Apply If you’re a detail‑oriented professional with strong Excel and MYOB skills who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
