As Property Pricing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping pricing strategies for property insurance products — solving complex challenges, delivering data‑driven insights, and influencing decisions that help build a safer, stronger future for our customers and communities. You’ll join a team that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement, where your ideas and expertise will make a real impact. This is a permanent full‑time role based in Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney). What You’ll Do Lead the development and deployment of technical pricing models for Property products, including complex commercial portfolios. Guide a team of pricing specialists and analysts to deliver high‑quality insights and pricing recommendations. Collaborate with Portfolio, Distribution, Claims, Valuations and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals. Drive commercial pricing initiatives that support profitable growth and strategic transformation. Monitor pricing performance and contribute to broader divisional initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting. Maintain compliance with governance frameworks and strong risk controls across pricing activities. Foster a culture of curiosity, inclusion and continuous improvement within your team and across the pricing function. What You’ll Bring 10+ years’ experience in general insurance pricing, ideally in property or short‑tail classes. Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and driving high performance. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to varied audiences. Expertise in technical pricing methods including IBNR and GLM modelling. Familiarity with underwritten property insurance classes and commercial pricing strategy. A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related technical field.
