Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepares necessary adjusting entries in a timely, effective manner. Prepares and distributes daily cash reports. Prepare and review daily journal entries. Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting systems. Prepares monthly financial analysis of general ledger accounts for Controller. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and closeout those accounts once the related projects have been completed. Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. Reconcile bank statement to the general ledger. Investigate and resolve financial statement questions from departments Performs all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from a four‑year college or university required. Must possess effective communication and organizational skills. Minimum of one year experience in general ledger accounting, with a concentration in balance sheet account reconciliation, fixed assets, financial analysis, and spreadsheet creation, required. Must be extremely numbers‑oriented and computer‑literate, with superior spreadsheet skills and proficiency in an accounting software system a plus.
