Aspirante is working with a local government organisation to assist in their search for an experienced Test Analyst to take a leading role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of enterprise systems within a large, complex environment. You’ll be responsible for defining test strategies, managing test execution, and supporting project delivery from planning through to implementation and post-go-live validation. You’ll collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and high-performing solutions that meet business objectives. -12 month contract with likely extension-Paying up to $100 per hour-3 days per week in Brisbane CBD office Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Schedule documentation for assigned projects. Lead and coordinate all phases of testing including Unit, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT . Design, review, and execute test cases ensuring comprehensive coverage. Manage test environments, data, and defect tracking using JIRA / Zephyr Scale (or equivalent tools). Provide test progress reports, metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders. Support and facilitate UAT sessions with business users. Drive continuous improvement of QA practices and standards across delivery streams. Essential 5+ years’ experience in software testing or QA. Strong experience with JIRA, Zephyr Scale, or similar test management tools. Proven ability to define and execute test strategies in Agile or hybrid environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Highly Regarded Degree in Information Technology or related discipline. ISTQB , Agile , or PMP certification.
