Lawyer / Associate - Employment is a position at Maddocks in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We work closely with Australian and international businesses, organisations and governments. About the Role We are currently looking for a 3+ years PQE Employment Lawyer to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of employment, industrial relations and discrimination work. You will also engage in tribunals and courts. Responsibilities Provide legal advice and solutions for employment law matters. Draft and negotiate employment contracts and related documents. Research and interpret employment legislation and case law. Represent clients in tribunals and court proceedings. Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters. Mentor junior lawyers and associates. Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base and training. Qualifications Early career lawyer with 3+ years PQE in employment law. Strong academic background in law. Excellent drafting, negotiation and research skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills and active stakeholder management.
