SAP HR/Payroll Functional Expert Join to apply for the SAP HR/Payroll Functional Expert role at Peoplebank Step into a pivotal role on a high-profile government health initiative. As a SAP HR/Payroll Functional Expert, you’ll leverage your deep SAP knowledge to troubleshoot, configure, and optimise HR and payroll systems. Your expertise will ensure seamless service delivery and drive system improvements across a large workforce. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and troubleshooting for SAP HR/Payroll issues and problem tickets. Design, configure, and test SAP solutions in line with strict standards and documentation requirements. Train end-users on SAP functionality and changes implemented. Document system configuration changes and review technical specifications to ensure compliance with departmental and government policies. Liaise with business stakeholders to resolve issues and recommend system improvements. Implement updates and upgrades, write functional specifications for ABAP development, and refine user requirements. About You We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate: Extensive experience in SAP HR modules: Organisational Management, Payroll (Australian), Time Management, Personnel Administration, CATS, ESS/MSS. Strong hands‑on configuration experience in SAP ECC6‑EHP8 and earlier versions (10+ years highly regarded). Proven ability to formulate and implement functional and technical specifications. Knowledge of payroll legislation and award structures in government. Excellent communication skills with the ability to consult and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
