We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. Position Overview: As a Project Manager at Quantum Civil, you will oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate the successful execution of projects from planning through to completion. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Coordination: Oversee the project life cycle, from initial planning and design stages to execution and handover. Develop detailed project schedules, set timelines, and ensure milestones are met. Budget and Cost Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within scope. Prepare cost estimates and manage resource allocation to prevent overruns. Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Manage risk assessments, implement safety protocols, and ensure adherence to all health and safety procedures. Quality Control and Reporting: Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met. Provide regular reports on project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project, ensuring that solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively. Scope Management: Define, document, and manage the project scope to ensure all deliverables align with client expectations and contractual agreements. Proactively monitor and control scope changes, addressing any potential scope creep to ensure the project stays on track and all objectives are successfully achieved. Qualifications and Skills Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, with a strong background in commercial projects. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with construction software and project management tools. Sound knowledge of OHS regulations and environmental standards within the civil construction industry.
