With Principals who have practiced in Queensland for 30 years we bring deep local knowledge and an integrated approach to every project. Due to a strong demand for structural services we are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our growing Townsville office. The role This is a dynamic role blending technical design documentation client coordination and site exposure no two days are the same. As a Structural Engineer you will contribute to design delivery from concept through construction across a diverse portfolio including residential commercial industrial education civic and coastal / cyclonic projects. You will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary teams and gain real project exposure mentoring and the support your need to progress toward becoming a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Key responsibilities include : Producing and reviewing structural designs calculations and documentation to NCC and Australian Standards (concrete steel timber and masonry; wind code experience advantageous). Preparing clear design reports specifications and documentation as required. Reviewing documents and providing clear mark ups for coordination. Undertaking site inspections responding to RFIs and supporting construction-phase queries. Contributing to quality assurance delivering to program and budget and supporting continuous improvement of systems templates and workflows. Collaborating across disciplines to deliver integrated outcomes for clients. About you We are seeking a proactive organised engineer who enjoys variety and teamwork. You will have : Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (essential). Minimum 2-5 years structural design experience. Revit proficiency and / or residential design experience (desirable). Solid knowledge of AS codes and the NCC; confident across concrete steel timber masonry. Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable and confident engaging with clients and contractors. Based in Townsville (or willing / eligible to relocate relocation support considered). Must have Australian work rights. Ambition to progress to RPEQ (we will support you).
