We're looking for a talented Geographic Information System (GIS) Consultant to join our dynamic team and help deliver innovative GIS solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement GIS projects across diverse sectors such as ecology, contaminated lands, environmental planning, mining, and geotechnical engineering. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, conduct spatial analysis, and contribute to the successful delivery of technical outputs that exceed client expectations. Prepare technical reports, maps, spatial analysis, and data management scripts. Manage small projects or discrete work packages, ensuring quality, scope, and budget alignment. Support proposal preparation, costing, and coordination. Monitor project risks and maintain high standards of compliance and safety (SHEQ). Participate in business development and mentoring programs. Apply industry‑standard techniques and contribute to continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or a related field. 5–10 years of GIS experience across small to medium projects. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.). Ability to work independently, lead project teams, and manage multiple priorities. Experience in proposal writing and business systems. Understanding of commercial and contractual project aspects. Knowledge and appreciation of the key markets in WA. Able to lead and grow a team.
