Heavy Vehicle Waste Truck Driver - Sideloader vehicle Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste and recycling services throughout Australia. We are seeking the services of Heavy Vehicle Drivers to operate sideloading waste vehicles, based at our depot in Bangalow, in Northern NSW and undertaking waste runs in the Byron Bay and Ballina Shire areas. Benefits Competitive base hourly rate with an opportunity for overtime Company uniform and PPE items provided On the job training with experienced operators Driving reliable, safe, well‑maintained vehicles A professional, team‑oriented work environment Job security, with a long‑standing, family‑owned and operated waste management company Requirements Have an HR licence as a minimum Have a good driving history (a current driving record will be required for the interview) Be available to start early in the mornings Be reliable, honest and a team player Be safety conscious and able to adhere to Company OHS policies and best practice Possess good communication skills Have good attention to detail Have a can‑do attitude and enthusiasm Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential. In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test. A current driving history with a good driving record will also need to be provided.
