About the role Ignition is seeking a Finance Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager - Strategic Finance & Investor Relations. You will take ownership of Ignition’s core financial model, performance reporting, and deep‑drive analysis into key operational and financial metrics. What your day to day will look like Own and manage the company’s financial model including monthly and quarterly updates of key performance indicators (KPIs). Contribute to the month‑end reporting process, collaborating closely with the full Finance team. Prepare company‑wide updates and financial performance narratives to key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and external investors. Prepare the annual and quarterly forecast, working closely with regional and functional heads. Analyse drivers of core SaaS metrics including customer acquisition, churn, expansion, and contraction. Manage and refine core financial and operational reports (e.g., Customer Cube), ensuring accurate data drives decision‑making. Qualifications What you need to succeed 2+ years of experience in a finance, commercial analysis, or relevant role, ideally within a SaaS or technology business. Proficiency in financial modeling across Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, capable of building and maintaining robust, best‑practice models for forecasting and analysis. Foundational understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to read and understand key financial statements and SaaS metrics. Ability to be proactive and “hands‑on” with detailed and complex data, translating it into meaningful insights for stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain highly collaborative relationships. Highly organised, dependable, and capable of prioritising and managing multiple tight deadlines simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
