Who will you be working with? FUSE Recruitment partnered with Health Icons to find their Quality Assurance manager. Rapidly growing nutraceutical and sports supplement manufacturer specialising in innovative functional gummies and capsules, the team is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead their operations and support their next phase of expansion. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment, has strong people management skills, and understands GMP‑aligned manufacturing processes. Strategically and operationally manage and lead the quality assurance function within the company. Manage, review, implement, develop and maintain the Pharmaceutical Quality System in line with regulatory requirements and best practice that support company best outcomes. Continuously improve existing quality assurance documentation processes across quality assurance and related areas. Manage batch release and sample retention. Manage stability studies for label claim expiry information. Manage and oversee the review and analysis final product testing. Assist in the development of new products, labels, containers, and processes in a collaborative setting with applicable departments. Manage, author, review and approve specifications, sampling instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality control procedures. Oversee and manage validation and revalidations process and all associated documentation and processes. Ensure product quality reviews are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Collaboratively engage with production to ensure production schedules are being met at the highest quality assurance standard. Manage and oversee internal audit processes and stability program. Manage and monitor approved vendor assurance program and any subcontractors and suppliers. Regulatory management: Ensure site compliance with all requirements and codes of GMP, HACCP, ISO – SQF is a plus. Team leadership: Provide coaching, training and mentorship support to direct team and wider business. Contribute to the wider business through continuous improvement initiatives. What do you need? Tertiary qualification within quality assurance or science, ideally medical science or pharmaceutical. Demonstrated experience in a similar quality management role, with industry experience. Experience adhering to GMP and HACCP, ISO – SQF desirable. Strong leadership and training skillset. Collaborative and inclusive approach.
