HVAC Service and Minor Works - Tradesman Air Boar offers comprehensive solutions for all facets of the HVAC industry, including a dedicated department managing essential smoke management systems. Established in 2020, a locally owned company that utilises its vast experience, innovation, and technology to deliver personal service and flexible solutions to its customers. We are looking for Qualified (Refrigeration) Tradesman in the following locations: Brisbane (South - Gold Coast) The Role We are looking for multiple experienced HVAC Service and Minor‑works Tradesman Technicians to join our established teams of fire/mechanical protection professionals offering complete building fire safety solutions. Service – You will undertake routine maintenance and service on all aspects of HVAC systems including essential services using your industry knowledge to effectively complete testing, inspection, fault finding, repairs and installation. Minor Works – You will work within a team supervised by a leading hand, assisting with the completion of minor works de‑fit and re‑fit of minor work projects. Undertake all works in a methodical, well‑organised and safety‑conscious manner. Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised or within a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Provide detailed reports as part of an overall excellent communication skill set. Conduct maintenance, repair and installation work to a high standard. Possess practical mechanical engineering and technical skills, and the ability to make calculations, interpret drawings and follow instructions. Exceptional fault‑finding skills with a sound understanding of the methodical steps required to quickly identify faults and the steps required to restore the system. Sound understanding of HVAC systems and effectively use commissioning equipment to verify performance. Thorough understanding of Australian Standards and carry out inspection and testing to verify compliance to AS1851 Section 13. Required Licences and Certifications Mechanical Services Licence QBCC (Must) Restricted Electrical Licence Essential Services Testing to AS1851 Section 13 Manual Driver's Licence White Card Desirable Qualifications/Licences Working at Heights EWP Confined Spaces First Aid Certificate Ideal candidates will enjoy a wide variety of diverse work where they will be able to apply their broad skill set to resolve issues and deliver results exceeding client expectations, ensuring repeat business.
