Purpose: The Structures Site Foreman leads day-to-day onsite operations for structural works, ensuring that all concrete, formwork and reinforcement activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate trades, plant, and subcontractors performing structural works (formwork, reinforcement, piering, concrete placement, precast installation, etc.). Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications and quality standards. Manage daily pre-starts, site risk assessments (SRA's), SWMS briefings and toolbox talks. Monitor productivity, materials and sequencing to meet program milestones. Oversee safety and environmental controls, ensuring work zones comply with WHS and Austonne policies and procedures. Liaise with the Engineer and Project Manager to resolve onsite technical or constructability issues. Conduct inspections for reinforcement, formwork and pours, signing off hold points and QA documentation. Maintain accurate records – perform site inductions, daily diaries, delivery dockets and site requirements. Lead by example, upholding Austonne’s expectations and values of Community, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety. Skills and Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in structural works (pits, piers, footings, retaining walls, slabs or culverts). Strong understanding of structural drawings, formwork systems and concrete finishing. Excellent communication and leadership skills. White Card, confined space, working at heights and relevant high-risk licences preferred.
