AO4 Cabinet and Legislation Liaison Support Officer Troocoo are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cabinet & Parliamentary Support Officer to join a busy, high-performing team based with a highly regarded State Government department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong coordination, communication, and administrative skills to work in a fast-paced, high-level environment supporting executive operations. This labour hire contract runs through to 30 January 2026 , with a strong potential for extension. The role requires full-time onsite presence due to the nature of the work, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $64.87 per hour + super . Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and coordination support relating to Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Executive Council and Parliamentary business. Prepare weekly briefing notes for senior stakeholders, including Directors-General and Ministers. Assist in the review of discussion papers and consultation requests within required timeframes. Maintain secure and well‑organised records in line with strict information governance requirements. Support internal staff in understanding and meeting Cabinet and Parliamentary business requirements. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high‑integrity team culture. About You Can confidently manage competing deadlines and high volumes of information. Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is confident working with senior internal and external stakeholders. Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment at all times. Is a team player who contributes to a respectful and inclusive work culture. Has a background in department liaison, executive support, coordination roles or similar – previous government experience is essential.
