Mercure Cairns is calling for friendly, reliable hospitality stars to join our team. We’re preparing to reopen The Stanley , our à la carte restaurant, serving breakfast 7 days a week. With a modern Australian menu inspired by fresh, seasonal produce and our vibrant location, this is an exciting time to come on board. Mercure Cairns is part of an international hotel group, offering 75 rooms and centrally located in the heart of Cairns. About the Role We’re building a strong Food & Beverage team dedicated to delivering an exceptional breakfast experience. This position is suited to an Early Bird who thrives in morning shifts, works well with others, and brings a positive, can-do attitude. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will: Deliver warm and attentive service to all guests Take food and beverage orders and serve with confidence Set up and pack down the restaurant before and after service Clear and clean tables and maintain a tidy dining area Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Respond to guest enquiries professionally and courteously Uphold grooming and presentation standards at all times What We’re Looking For: Previous F&B or hospitality experience A genuine passion for great food, service, and guest experience Current RSA certification Strong communication and organisational skills Australian working rights and availability for early starts from 5.30am Ability to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays Ability to work alone and in a team environment Basic understanding of wine, cocktails, and coffees Barista Coffee Making skills desirable, not essential A friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality This role is for breakfast service only, with the potential to expand into other service periods as our operations grow.
