The Opportunity We at Southern Cross Care are seeking energetic and motivated team members with good communication skills who can work with a team of dedicated support personnel. You will need to be a good team player with a commitment to the provision of high-quality service. The role of Food Service Assistant is an opportunity that will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering impeccable service to our residents at Ainslie Low Head. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. A positive and proactive approach to customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads. What you’ll need: Minimum qualification or experience in Food Service role. Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards (or the ability to acquire this). Satisfactory national police check within the last three months. Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration with NDIS endorsement. If you are on a visa, a copy of your current IMMI Letter.
