Military Maintenance Production Clerk

Location: Edinburgh, South Australia, Australia Position Reference Number: Position Overview Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Military Maintenance Production Clerk (listed as Production Clerk in our organisational chart) to join our Admin Support team. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will support the Defence Maintenance Contract Manager to ensure effective, efficient and best‑practice planning, scheduling, resourcing and progress monitoring. Coordinate with the client for regular progress and performance updates. Undertake a mix of office‑based administrative tasks and provide non‑technical support to tradespersons and local Defence clientele in our modern, state‑of‑the‑art maintenance facilities at RAAF Base Edinburgh. Manage the daily operation of customer‑facing reception areas within RAAF Edinburgh. Compile and manage inventory records; prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies; assist with ordering and expediting repair parts for a wide range of ADF fleets. Use Commonwealth‑managed systems such as Cargo Visibility to manage, track and expedite repair parts. Assist with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. Administer and manage Commonwealth Supply Customer Accounts (SCAs). Support tradespersons by performing work‑order management and data‑entry tasks in Commonwealth‑mandated information systems such as SAP. Assist management teams in preparing written work schedules based on established guidelines and ADF priorities. Qualifications & Requirements Previous proven administrative experience in a similar workshop environment (highly desirable). Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook (essential). Proficient planning, organisational and communication skills (essential). Current Australian State or territory class C driver’s licence (essential). Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and reports, schedules, and information management systems. Proactive "can‑do" attitude suitable for a large team environment. Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
