SENIOR ENGINEER – TECHNICAL SALES & PROJECTS Enerflow Vanadium Batteries Australia Pty Ltd Location: Western Australia (with national travel) Sector: Mega-Battery Energy Storage (VFRB) Enerflow Vanadium Batteries Australia Pty Ltd has recently been appointed exclusive distributor for one of the world’s largest vanadium flow battery manufacturers, supplying long-duration, utility-scale energy storage systems for government, mining, remote communities and large commercial and industrial clients. We are now seeking a high-calibre engineering professional with strong technical sales, project leadership and client-management capability to help drive the rollout of vanadium flow battery deployments across Australia. Role Working closely with the directors, our Chinese manufacturing partners, and key Australian clients, you will: Lead technical sales engagements from first contact through to contract award. Prepare and present technically robust proposals, including system sizing, performance modelling and high-level project costing. Support major tender responses in conjunction with specialist consultants and advisors. Oversee project delivery at a senior level – coordinating design, factory interface, logistics, installation and commissioning teams. Act as a key technical point of contact for utilities, mining houses, EPCs and government agencies. Help shape the company’s product roadmap and project pipeline in Australia and the region. About You The successful candidate will likely bring: Degree qualifications in engineering (electrical, power systems, renewable energy, or related discipline). Strong experience in utility‑scale energy, power systems, large batteries, renewables, transmission/distribution, or similar large infrastructure. Demonstrated success in technical sales, solution development and/or major project delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at executive and government level. A commercial mindset, able to balance technical rigour with client needs and project viability. Willingness to travel nationally as required. Remuneration & Incentives A remuneration package commensurate with the seniority of the role.
