A thriving medical center in Cairnlea is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join its collaborative and welcoming team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a GP to build a strong patient base and practice in a well-equipped, purpose-built facility. Practice Environment and Team The practice is a popular mixed-billing community center located approximately 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. It is open seven days a week to serve its established and growing patient base. The cohesive team includes knowledgeable doctors and experienced support staff who work together to improve the health of the local community. The GP will be supported by full-time CDM and treatment room nurses and a skilled administrative team. To enhance patient care, the center also offers on-site pathology and has visiting allied health professionals, including a dietitian and a diabetes educator. Facilities and Opportunities The purpose-built facilities are modern and well-appointed, featuring ten consultation rooms, a two-bay treatment room, and a private procedure room. The center also includes a dedicated CDM/health management room. As an independent contractor, the GP will have full clinical autonomy and the benefit of flexible working arrangements. The practice encourages professional development and offers robust CPD support through an RACGP partnership, in-house events, and discounted registration for industry events. There are also opportunities for GPs to become GP Registrar Supervisors and to pursue special interests, with support provided for a wide range of areas, including skin, aesthetics, and occupational medicine.
