With GOTAFE by your side, YOU’VE GOT THIS. Job details The Wangaratta Tech School is an exciting new hub for STEM innovation, set to open its doors in 2026. We are now seeking a passionate and forward‑thinking STEM Facilitator to help shape and deliver cutting edge learning experiences for secondary students across the region. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, and facilitate hands‑on STEM programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem solving. Working closely with teachers, industry partners, and the Tech School team, you will create high‑quality learning experiences aligned with contemporary technologies, local workforce needs, and Department of Education priorities. You will also play a key role in mentoring colleagues, managing program resources and equipment, contributing to strategic planning, and representing the Tech School at regional and state forums. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students, schools, and communities while helping build STEM capability across the region. As the successful candidate you will have: Experience teaching or facilitating learning in STEM or STEAM disciplines, with strong technical capability in two or more STEM areas. Program design skills, with the ability to develop engaging, inclusive, and contemporary learning experiences. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and industry partners. A proactive, curious, and creative approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and ongoing professional learning. If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide: A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date) A current Working with Children Check – Employee (or proof of application) A current Driver’s Licence (Car). Salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and teaching experience.
