MWLP connects schools, students and businesses to help young people gain valuable industry experience through work placement. We're passionate about building strong partnerships between education and industry to prepare student for successful careers. About the Role We are seeking 2 motivated and result driven Host Engagement Officers to join our growing team, immediate start available. This is a target based role, focused on signing up local businesses to host students completing a VET course as part of their HSC. You'll work with employers across a wide range of industries - including Construction, Information & Digital Technology, Allied Health, Business Services & Hospitality, just to name a few. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home, in the office and out in the community visiting business. You'll be provided a company car to support your efforts. Key Responsibilities Proactively source, contact and sign up new Host Employers through calls, visits and research Achieve weekly and monthly targets for new Host Employer sign ups Manage the onboarding and documentation process for new hosts within 48 hours Conduct annual re-registrations with hosts Enter and maintain accurate CRM & Pathways records Re-engage previous Host Employers to encourage renewed participation Collaborate with the Work Placement Coordinators to ensure quality placements across industries Prepare reports and updates for team meetings Represent MWLP at events, meetings and networking opportunities About You Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and relationship building skills A proven ability to meet or exceed targets Confidence in cold calling and networking with local businesses Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team A proactive results focused attitude Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check, or willing to obtain Why Join Us? 2 full time positions available with immediate start option Company car provided You get your birthday off Access to Employee Assistance Program Opportunities for growth and professional development Make an impact by helping students gain valuable industry experience How to Apply If you thrive in a target driven, relationship based role helping connect businesses to the next generation of skilled workers - click the Apply Now button.
