Our student population of 547 girls reflects a diverse range of cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. Notably, 98% of our students come from non-English speaking backgrounds, and 30% require varying levels of support in English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). General Selection Criteria Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy Specific Selection Criteria Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria, Demonstrated ability to lead the development of innovative and explicit teaching and learning across a range of HSIE and HGPE programs, including curriculum and assessment practices that engage and meet the needs of all students. Visible leadership that demonstrates exemplary interpersonal skills and the proven capacity to build staff capability through mentoring and targeted professional learning, whilst fostering a culture of high expectations, teamwork, positive relationships, and staff wellbeing to ensure sustainable improvement across a diverse faculty. Demonstrated ability to work as a dynamic and collaborative member of the executive team to develop and lead whole school initiatives and drive the implementation of the school’s strategic directions, with a strong focus on improving outcomes for all students. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
