As an Assurance Analyst, you will play a vital role within our Group Risk Operational & Assurance team at Auto & General, delivering independent assurance over the Group’s risk management framework and control environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager Assurance, you will assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, conduct control testing, support compliance monitoring, participate and lead assurance reviews, and deliver high-quality reports to senior leaders. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, including Line 1 and Line 3 risk functions, and play a critical role in enhancing operational risk awareness. Responsibilities Assurance and Control Testing Assurance Review including Compliance Reviews Assurance & Control Testing Reporting Experience and Qualifications At least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry (or another highly regulated environment). Minimum of 1 year of experience in control testing, assurance, audit, or risk role. Experience with risk management (GRC) systems. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical, critical thinking and attention to detail skills.
