Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, you will lead two teams: the Cyber Security Operations team, and the Cyber Security Engineering team.The Cyber Security Operations and Engineering Manager will have a strong track record of successfully leading Cyber Security teams and will have a deep understanding of Cyber Security Operations and Engineering principles and practicesWhat will your key responsibilities include?Execution of the Cyber Security strategic roadmap pertaining to Cyber Security Operations and Engineering.In collaboration with the Cyber Security Delivery Manager, plan, prioritise, and deliver Cyber Security initiatives and improvements. Work to ensure that projects are completed on time and consistent with planned outcomes.Management of the cyber security operations centre, including daily operations, escalation, quality reporting, and supplier managementVulnerability management including configuration compliance monitoringEnhance operational effectiveness in penetration testing through ownership, standards, and process management.Undertake and review information security risk assessments for information systems and technologiesDrive initiatives and continuous improvement activities to contribute to improving the overall outcome for the unit;Ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are achieved by monitoring and reviewing compliance and ensure risk is managed appropriate and within appetite.Lead and manage a team of cyber security professionals, including onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and mentoring. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
