Academic and Research Communications Adviser ANZSOG is seeking a strategic and creative communicator to bridge the gap between academic research and public sector practice. As Academic and Research Communications Adviser, you’ll lead the translation of complex research into accessible, engaging formats that resonate with government audiences across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll curate and produce digital artefacts, explainer articles, evidence syntheses and media content that amplify ANZSOG’s academic engagement and knowledge exchange initiatives. You’ll collaborate across teams and with external partners to ensure our research reaches the right audiences, in the right way, at the right time. We’re looking for a skilled writer and relationship-builder with a deep appreciation for public governance and the power of evidence‑informed policy. You’ll bring experience in communications, research translation and stakeholder engagement—and a passion for making ideas matter.
