Preparatory School Inclusive Education Specialist - Early Years We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusive Education Specialist to join our Inclusive Education team and work collaboratively to ensure optimal learning outcomes for students with additional learning needs. Reporting to the Director of Inclusive Education (LE–12), you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with additional learning needs across our Preparatory School. You will work closely with classroom teachers, students, and families to design and implement inclusive practices that promote engagement, growth, and personal success. This role is a permanent part time 0.6 FTE position commencing in Term 1 2026 with flexibility for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Planning a developmentally appropriate educational programme which fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of each student. Proficient with the analysis of data to support educators to meet the needs of students using the ‘Response to Intervention’ model, working closely with classroom teachers to ensure that support (Tier 2) and intervention (Tier 3) programs are effective. Develop and implement effective learning interventions based on student data. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated efforts in meeting student needs. Provide small group instruction and differentiated teaching strategies to address specific learning challenges. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure continuous improvement. About You Teaching qualification and specialist qualifications or extensive experience in working with students with learning difficulties or additional needs in the Early Years. Recent experience in a similar role. Hold current Working with Children Check. Hold a current TRBWA registration. Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
