This role supports students with disabilities, EAL / D learners, and those requiring case management, ensuring equitable access to quality education in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, the Disability Standards for Education 2005, and Catholic Education WA policies. Selection Criteria Applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties, and be able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the following areas: Coordinating support for students with disabilities and EAL / D learners. Leading the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Demonstrated experience in managing and submitting funding applications for students with disabilities (SWD), Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), and English as an Additional Language or Dialect (E / ALD). Ability to liaise with teaching staff and leadership to ensure accurate data collection and reporting for funding purposes. Strong understanding of CEWA and government funding guidelines related to SWD, NCCD, and EALD. Coordinating Case Management and liaising with families and external agencies. Providing professional development and promoting inclusive practices. Demonstrate pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative, and student-centred approach. Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Provide a flexible and adaptive teaching / learning program that provides differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. Demonstrate the capability to work cooperatively and collaboratively and a willingness to participate in reflective practice. Qualifications Required Have appropriate teaching qualifications (special education qualification are desirable). Have or be willing to obtain the necessary accreditation requirements.
