Co-Branch Coordinator - Bellyful Christchurch Help nourish whnau and connect communities in tautahi Bellyful Christchurch needs a Co-Branch Coordinator with time to give, a love of community and a knack for supporting awesome volunteers. We're looking for someone to team up with our fabulous current Branch Coordinator Suzanne and share the leadership of our branch as we support local whnau. About Bellyful Bellyful provides up to three nights of free meals to whnau with babies or children under 12. We’re here for families without a support network, wrapping practical care around them when things are hard. Our meals are generously cooked and delivered by volunteers. Last year alone, our Christchurch volunteers cooked and delivered 2,739 meals to 515 whnau. About the role Bellyful Co-Branch Coordinators lead their local branch. You’ll help support volunteers and make sure all the moving parts of the branch are running smoothly – referrals, Cookathons, deliveries, local fundraising and a bit of admin. Most of the work can be done from home, at times that fit around your work and whnau commitments. Responsibilities Support volunteers and ensure smooth operation of referrals, Cookathons, deliveries, local fundraising, and admin tasks. Plan and attend twice monthly Cookathons. Coordinate deliveries and occasional local fundraising or community events. Respond to emails and manage referrals. Time Required Around 48 hours per week, mostly from home and flexible around your work and whnau commitments. Training Full induction, including an introduction to Bellyful’s systems, processes and referral pathways.
