Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting edge Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs). Our vessel's harness Wind, Solar and Wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications. We are under contracts with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations around Australia and beyond. About the Role The V&V Test Engineer is instrumental in ensuring our Bluebottle platform is mission-ready for all on-water activities. The Engineering function is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the design of Ocius assets, particularly the Bluebottle platform, while actively responding to operational and production requirements to ensure continuous improvement. A typical day as our V&V Test Engineer could include: Developing test plans & procedures at different levels of system integration Executing test procedures, both internally and with external stakeholders Building and presenting test reports Qualifications Minimum 2 years testing experience in a relevant industry such as software or hardware systems Proven experience writing test procedures for systems and subsystems Proven experience writing test reports and generating objective qualitative evidence Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent If you're passionate about testing and developing complex hardware systems and an excellent communicator, we encourage you to apply Due to the nature of our business, we require Australian Citizenship for all roles and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance and be compliant with ITAR regulations.
