UAT Test Lead

About the role We are seeking a UAT Test Lead to join our highly collaborative and efficient Customer Delivery team. The UAT Test Lead is responsible for implementing testing strategies, developing and executing test plans and test scenarios, and providing production implementation confidence in changes to existing processes that have been tested and accepted in line with required project/BAU requirements for customer systems. The UAT Test Lead will provide strategic direction, undertake planning, scope the testing required, estimate effort and duration, and determine resource requirements. The UAT Test Lead is also expected to support testers to deliver on testing expectations, timelines, and to drive a high‑performance testing function. Day‑to‑day responsibilities Liaise with project stakeholders to engage in testing activities. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes and procedures established according to the standards defined within the TCoE Test Strategy. Plan resources and manage the ongoing team structure. Analyse business requirements and track requirement changes. Review solution architecture and design documentation. Identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and training requirements. Track timely delivery of planned milestones. Qualifications & required skills Previous experience as a Test Lead in large, complex transformation projects. Strong software testing background with experience at all test levels and various testing methodologies (Agile, V‑Model, Waterfall, and Hybrid). Strong knowledge of frontline operational functions such as customer service, billing, credit/collections, and related areas. Stakeholder management and engagement skills. Extensive experience testing complex integrated platforms (onboarding, transactional, customer & billing, payments) or similar technologies. Experience with testing tools and technologies such as Q Test ALM, Jira, Confluence. Passion for and experience driving process improvement. Proven people‑leadership ability and the drive to build high‑performing, engaged teams. Highly proficient in Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Resilience and adaptability to change.
