Albany's Historic Whaling Station – Albany WA Join them as a Wildlife Park Volunteer and help care for native Australian wildlife at the Australian Wildlife Park. Responsibilities & Qualifications Experience in positive reinforcement and clicker training for bird training and enrichment, particularly working independently with large cockatoos. Confidence in handling cockatoos unsupervised and ability to follow training protocols. May take on general wildlife park duties if interested. Enjoy engaging with visitors of all ages and cultures, and be comfortable working independently. Commitment & Details Category : Museums & Heritage. Commitment : Regular – more than 6 months. Type of Work : Tour Guides, Information & Heritage, Working with Animals. Time Required : 6 hours minimum per week, weekdays, possibility of weekend opportunities.
