The Role We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong leadership skills to help shape and deliver world‑class user experiences in our AI‑powered healthcare products. You’ll be comfortable working across the stack, but have a particular interest in crafting elegant, intuitive, and performant interfaces. You combine technical depth with a product mindset — thinking not only about how features are built, but why they matter and how they can best serve our users. What you’ll do: Own and ship full‑stack features – e.g., billing, payments and user management features end‑to‑end; working closely with your EM and PM to build and launch full‑stack features across both frontend and backend APIs, ensuring a seamless experience for our users and supporting Heidi's growth. Champion quality: author tests, monitor performance and create run‑books so teams can trust every release. Collaborate cross‑functionally: pair with product, design, customer success and sales teams to convert ideas into customer value in weeks, not quarters. Continuously improve: identify process or development bottlenecks, mentor the team on best practices and work with our AI enablement team to improve both the speed and safety with which we release. What we will look for: Solid full stack capability, with the ability to work effectively on both frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (Python or TypeScript) services. Experience with REST/GraphQL design, domain‑driven architecture, relational and NoSQL datastores. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team, balance priorities from other departments and coordinate the release of your team’s features. Cloud proficiency (GCP or AWS): containers, CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, observability and security best practices. A product mindset — you care deeply about solving real problems for users and measuring the impact of what you build. Experience working closely with design, with an eye for detail and an appreciation for great UX. Bonus: Experience with payments or billing systems, subscription plans and/or user management systems.
