With strong client relationships and deep knowledge of Victoria’s development landscape, you’ll lead key projects and promote specialist capabilities while also guiding strategic expansion into South Australia. The role sits within our Community Development group where you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of VIC projects in land development, subdivision, commercial buildings and infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a strong network in the civil consulting space, a track record of business development success, and a passion for delivering impactful, community-focused solutions. Responsibilities Client & Market Leadership: Be the trusted advisor clients seek, drive proactive engagement, and elevate our market brand. Strategic Growth: Drive market growth by identifying strategic opportunities, shaping bids, and leveraging industry trends to position the business as a technical and commercial leader. Collaboration: Foster cross-business collaboration to strengthen client relationships, share global expertise, and support project delivery through Communities of Practice and strategic leadership alignment. Project Delivery: Lead, review, and advise on key projects, ensuring efficiency and excellence in delivery. People Leadership: Collaborate closely with Business and Group Leaders to mentor emerging talent, identify strategic recruitment needs, and strengthen project delivery across the Business Centre. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project management, Construction management or relevant technical qualification is desirable. Ideally 20+ years of professional experience in civil engineering consulting or related disciplines. Proven leadership in the land development and infrastructure market. Professional registration in a related field. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and client relationship skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
