The difference you’ll make We’re looking for a talented and driven QA Engineer to help ensure our industry-leading digital loan systems continue to deliver exceptional reliability, performance, and customer experience. In this role, you’ll have the vision to support the development of high-quality technology, challenging the status quo and innovating every day with a product team devoted to transforming the lending experience. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, high-growth environment where quality, automation, and operational excellence are critical to unlocking scale. What you’ll do Design and implement comprehensive automation testing strategies across UI, API, and integration layers. Architect scalable, maintainable test frameworks using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies and best-practice design patterns. Develop robust and repeatable end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright and modern testing frameworks. Lead performance and security testing initiatives to ensure systems remain resilient and reliable at scale. Clearly communicate quality insights, risks, and testing outcomes across engineering, product, and operations teams. Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline optimisation to enable fast, reliable, and automated deployments. Champion quality-first practices and foster a culture of testing excellence across engineering squads. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and automation maturity. Influence test strategy, automation architecture, and the future direction of our quality engineering capabilities. Contribute to technical documentation, quality metrics reporting, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. What you’ll bring 5+ years of QA automation experience in complex software environments. Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript in the Node.js ecosystem. Commercial experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation (highly regarded). Proven expertise in the Page Object Model and robust automation design patterns. Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and integration. Experience with API testing tools and methodologies. Database experience with PostgreSQL for test data management and validation. Knowledge of performance and security testing principles and tooling. Experience working with AWS-based environments.
