Performance Tennis Coach

Elite Tennis Academy based out of Mornington Tennis Centre is seeking coaches to join our expanding team. We operate out of a beautiful ITF Clay Court Facility, with 12 pro clay courts under lights, and are located in Mornington, a coastal town on the Mornington Peninsula. Our team places high importance on having a passion for coaching and a desire to continue to improve our delivery of tennis both on and off the court. We are advertising for coaches to fill positions in either a Performance Coaching Position or a Development Coaching Position (more than one position is available for the right candidates). Performance Coaching Position The on-court coaching hours will be primarily be working within our Squad Program and private lessons. Write lesson plans and show progression programs for players. Complete tournament planning for players in the program. Assist in additional programs such as Hot Shots, Adult Coaching & Holiday Clinics. Assist with tournament delivery – training will be provided. Minimum 5 years coaching experience. Minimum 2 years coaching performance players. Development Coaching Position Vacant The on-court coaching hours will predominately be working within our Hot Shots (grassroots) tennis program, teens tennis and private lessons. Within the Hot Shots program the coach will be required to work with players aged 3‑12 years. Write lesson plans and show progression programs for players. Work with players aged 3‑12 years. Assist in Adult Coaching & Holiday Clinics. Assist with tournament delivery – training will be provided. Minimum 3 years coaching experience. The successful applicant must have A passion for tennis and for working with children. Alignment with our company values. The ability to develop and build strong professional relationships with our team, students, parents, club members and the tennis community. Well organised and love of learning and growing your knowledge. Show initiative and creativity. Other benefits include Equipment package supplied by Head. Uniform package supplied by Nike. Honorary Club Membership during employment. Salary / Benefits Base salary of $900 per week (for 20 hours per week). Additional $45 per hour for any hours worked over 20 hours per week. Coach can choose to work more than 20 hours per week if desired – giving flexibility to select the number of hours above 20. We have ability to sponsor coaches on the 408 Visa. Pathway to permanent residency available through our company. Housing Option may be available (a room in an academy share house).
