2nd shift welder weekly pay plus OT Utilize MIG welding techniques to weld steel stud frames, walls, and roofs to create enclosures. Assemble and weld walls around fuel tanks, weld steel tanks, and ensure all secondary and supporting components are properly welded. Collaborate with Quality Control to verify welds meet specifications and test welds for leaks, completing spot welds as necessary. Responsibilities Weld steel stud frames, walls, and roofs using MIG welding techniques. Assemble and weld walls around fuel tanks. Weld steel tanks and all secondary components for enclosures. Test welds for leaks and perform spot welds where needed. Work with Quality Control to confirm compliance with specifications. Minimum 3 years experience with MIG welding. Experience in light and medium gauge fabrication. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing basic math. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to interpret shop drawings. AWS Certification. Technical Degree or Certification. Why Work Here? Medical, Dental, Vision, 5% Quarterly bonus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barnesville, Georgia. Work will primarily take place at the Barnesville location in a non-climate-controlled environment. Training will occur on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 PM, after which the position will transition to the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with an additional 6 hours on Saturdays.
