Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting Casual Early Childhood Educators and Assistant Educators to support a variety of high‑quality Early Learning Centres across Melbourne. As part of our dynamic casual team, you’ll have the freedom to choose when and where you work—all while making a genuine impact on young lives. Responsibilities: Engage with children in meaningful play‑based learning activities Implement and contribute to the delivery of educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of all children in your care Maintain accurate records of children’s development and learning experiences Skills & Experience: Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent) Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain) A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential Desired Skills & Experience: Passionate about early childhood education and care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to get stuck in and show initiative Ability to work effectively as part of any team Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity Commitment to ongoing professional development Why Work With Tradewind?
