Banking Leadership Team (Program/Chapter Leads) Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)Engagement: Initial 12‑month contracts with multi‑year extensionsOrganisation: Consortio Pty Ltd About the Program Consortio has been engaged to support a multi‑year modernization program with a leading financial institution headquartered in Victoria. We are building a senior program team to shape and deliver the next phase of this transformation. Each role will be pivotal in establishing the program and defining the scope of works, and will take responsibility for building and managing teams. (1) Program/Chapter Lead Provide strategic leadership across all workstreams in a complex, multi‑vendor environment. You'll drive program governance, planning, and delivery across domains while ensuring regulatory and operational compliance. 10+ years in large‑scale core banking or digital transformation. Strong governance and stakeholder management experience (C‑suite / SteerCo). Proven success leading multi‑vendor delivery programs. (2) PMO Lead Establish and run the Program Management Office (PMO) for a high‑visibility banking transformation. Oversee reporting, RAID management, budgets, and program cadence. PMO experience on complex financial‑services programs. Strong reporting and executive‑pack development skills. Excellent knowledge of governance frameworks and controls. (3) Chief (Integration) Architect Lead architectural design across the program, defining integration patterns and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Deep technical experience in core banking and middleware integration. Expertise in data architecture, API management, and migration design. (4) Migration SME Design and lead the end‑to‑end data migration approach for the core platform transition—including mapping, cutover, reconciliation, and data quality assurance. Data migration expertise across core banking systems. Strong data mapping, validation, and reconciliation background. Experience executing migrations within APRA‑regulated environments. (5) Strategic Advisor Act as a senior advisor supporting the program's Steering Committee and leadership team, providing insight into governance, vendor strategy, and risk management. 15+ years' experience advising on large‑scale financial transformations. Strategic understanding of enterprise banking modernisation programs. Strong communication and leadership influence.
