Traffic Management Planner – Downer Location: Maddington, Western Australia, Australia. Downer is the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement traffic management plans for construction sites, events, and roadworks. Conduct traffic surveys and data analysis to assess patterns, congestion and safety issues. Ensure compliance with local and national traffic regulations and safety standards. Determine placement of traffic signs, signals and road markings. Integrate traffic management technology and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors and government agencies. Communicate traffic changes to the public through signage and online resources. Drive continuous improvement in traffic management strategies. About You Proven experience in traffic management advisory roles. Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Ticket essential. Proficiency in designing and producing Traffic Management Plans. AutoCAD experience preferred. Construction Induction Certificate (White Card). Strong understanding of traffic regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero Harm environment. Benefits Tool of Trade vehicle.
